Electrolux/Levande
If you’re renting an apartment or office space in Singapore, Levande is a service you may want to consider!
The goal is to reduce e-waste and improve the circular economy when it comes to household products.
Levande is a subscription service for home appliances where you can loan an item anywhere from 6 months to 6 years.
You choose the appliance you need from the website, select if you want a new/refurbished piece, and decide on your subscription duration. They even have a calculator for you to use to check how much you’re saving compared to purchasing a brand new item.
The service was solid too. If you’re replacing an old appliance like I was, the Levande team takes care of the uninstallation and disposal of the previous item, and the installation of the new appliance.
As a first time user, I’ve been really pleased with the experience and appliances. The oven subscription is still being piloted, but hopefully we’ll see it being part of the service soon!
Levande is from the same family as Electrolux, so all appliances will come from them.
