French Film Festival

For the fourth consecutive year, I had the honour of hosting the opening night of vOilah's French Film Festival, marking a historic milestone with its 40th edition – making it Singapore's longest-running foreign film festival!

This year's programme feels like stepping into a time capsule, beautifully capturing the evolution of French storytelling across four decades. With 36 different films on offer, from timeless classics to contemporary blockbusters, the carefully curated selection continues the festival's tradition of bringing diverse narratives to our shores.

Beyond hosting the opening night, I also had the pleasure of moderating a special Q&A session with the talented cast of Prodigies – Camille Razat, Mélanie Robert, and the charming Franck Dubosc. Their insights brought an added layer of depth to this remarkable film.
