Beef Taco Filling
This was served as part of a Latino-themed dinner party I hosted in my home, where I created a couple of dishes as part of a Taco Bar.

THE RECIPE
SERVES 6
Ingredients
500g shabu shabu beef
1 onion, sliced thinly
1 carrot, julienned
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oil
Marinade
1 tsp mirin
1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp hot paprika
1 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp garlic powder
A pinch of black pepper
A squeeze of lemon juice
Directions
Mix the ingredients for the marinade, and coat the beef slices in it.
In a large pan, sautée the onion and carrot in some oil.
Once softened, add the soy sauce and tomato paste, and mix well.
Add the beef and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until your desired texture.
