Recently, Lizzy (theconsciouslizzy) and I teamed up for an enjoyable grocery shopping trip. We know grocery shopping can be stressful, but it doesn't have to be difficult—we've got you covered!
Here are some things to prioritise when shopping for snacks that are both nutritious and earth-friendly:
▪️ Plant protein i.e. beans, lentils, tofu, nuts, seeds
(they support heart & gut health too)
▪️ Frozen fruits/vegetables
▪️ Foods grown or manufactured in the region
▪️ Minimally processed foods
▪️ If it’s possible, buy in bulk or choose package-free options
And most importantly, consume mindfully and in moderation!
