Grobrix

I’m excited to share that I have joined Grobrix as their Brand Ambassador and Strategic Advisor.

It’s been a whole year of using their indoor farming system and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

For me, it represents a few things: 

  • Fresher and more nutritious vegetables. 90% of food consumed in Singapore is imported, and as mentioned in my TEDx talk, a lot of nutrients are lost in the process of getting from farm to table. 

  • Lower carbon footprint (shorter miles travelled, lesser packaging waste)

  • Lesser food waste (harvest only what you need)

  • I also find myself eating more greens - and a variety of them

  • It also functions as my living room lighting once the sun sets (and it's ~$6/month in electricity bills)

There are a lot of variables that go into growing edibles, and I like that Grobrix takes care of all of that. There’s no need for a green thumb with it!
