Future Food Summit (APAC)

What a privilege it was to chair the Future Food Summit APAC in Kuala Lumpur.

It was so enriching sitting in a room of academic experts, regulators, start ups, investors, and accelerators, and identifying opportunities for innovation and progress in the food industry.

It’s a shared responsibility for us to continue exploring and implementing solutions to help build a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient food system, and I’m excited to see where we land ourselves in 10 years time... on a healthier planet I hope!

I also want to make a special mention to Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) for hosting the space and supporting the agenda for reducing waste.

Not one single-use plastic in sight - every table was provided with refillable glass bottles and tea breaks were served with washable cutlery. A rare sight for me based on the events I've attended in the past!
