Mindful Drinking is a practice that I learnt about over Circuit Breaker. I know it can sound like a simple activity, but taking the time to pause, breathe, and enjoy such a simple everyday task can do wonders to your mind. It has allowed me to slow down and gain better focus.
Before drinking my tea, I think of everything that went into making it – where it comes from and whose hands harvested the ingredients for it. Then give thanks to those that provided for it.
I enjoyed working with Pukka, and I appreciate how their brand is so aligned with their values. The company invests in environmental and social causes, and is careful with their farming practices. Plus their tea bags don’t contain any kind of plastic, and everything is stitched together using organic cotton so you know what this means for composting fanatic in me, the entire bin goes into my compost bin. What a satisfying feeling!
