What a night it was at HAGAR’s 25th anniversary dinner!
I am absolutely blown away by the work that they do for victims of human trafficking, slavery and abuse. I had to hold back my tears on stage while listening to the messages of Dr Rithy, Longdy and Aly. They are all survivors, who with the support of HAGAR, are serving as a doctor, counsellor and teacher back in their home communities today.
HAGAR has transformed and illuminated 19,000 lives globally to date, and all the funds we raised on this night will go towards saving and restoring many more victims of human trafficking and abuse.
I am deeply humbled by the passion and unwavering support of the ARMY of volunteers, and the team from Division Communications who put this evening together so beautifully.
Thank you once again to my partner in crime on stage, Paul Sng, for introducing me to HAGAR, and Lynette & Michael for all your efforts in making a change in all these people’s lives.

Thank you Rentadella for the beautiful dress that suited the Illuminate theme perfectly!
Born out of a desire to rescue abandoned children and vulnerable women from the streets of Phnom Penh, the work of HAGAR started in 1994 and has since evolved into a vision to see communities free and healed from the trauma of human trafficking, slavery and abuse.Working with community partners, local governments, law enforcement, corporates and religious institutions, much progress has been made in the fight against human trafficking, slavery and abuse. Thanks to the many partners who walk with us on the journey of recovery and restoration, more than 19,000 lives have been empowered with renewed hope for their future.Be the change you want to see in the world.
